Aquari-May 2021: 9 Participants, 16 Fish

Aquari-May 2021 was a month-long community challenge hosted over at my Twitch channel, twitch.tv/runeax ! The goal was to do a mermay-inspired challenge by assembling an aquarium: having each participant submit at least 1 fish, and to create a scene based off those fish. Most of the people in the project were completely new to to 3D - and I'm so proud of how much they learned! We went over both the hand-painted texture and vertex color pipelines.
