Description

Selected frieze #1 from one of the stone sarcophogi around the edge of the Soviet war memorial in Treptower Park, Berlin. The memorial was built in 1949 to commemmorate the Soviet war effort - over 7000 soviet soldiers who died in the Battle of Berlin are buried here.
