Olivine basalt porphyry #37 04-15-2020

Description

This basalt contains phenocrysts of green olivine and black augite. The olivine is a bit hard to pick out but look closely and you will see the crystals with an army green color. The sample is 9 cm x 6 cm and comes from Valmount County, Colorado.
