One of a series of Roman medical instruments from the University of Virginia Health Sciences Library collection. All the artifacts in this collection are high resolution replicas of the actual artifact. This blood letting cup artifact replica was 3D scanned using a Creaform ZScanner 700 CX. The 3D scan data was registered, edited and optimized using Geomagic. Data acquistion, registration and editing was done by Shaheen Alikhan for UVA Architectural History class ARH5600 3D Cultural Heritage Informatics, Fall 2020.
