Rhinocaris Ehlersi

Description

This is a Rhinocaris ehlersi shell that I dug up and prepared in Sylvania, Ohio in September of 2021. It is a Phyllocarid from the Devonian time period, roughly 400 million years old. The size of the shell is 72mm x 36mm. There is a multicolor sheen to it in the light, that unfortunately doesn't translate well in a scan.
