This design proposition is regarding ARBE Assessment 1 and 2. The installation is a response to elements which deter visual aesthetics within the harbours edge regarding image capturing. The timber panels are a temporary installation piece to block or filtrate undesired elements such as light-posts, council implemented plants, public amenities and structural elements from ones' view. The panels are also moveable thus enhancing ones’ consciousness of architecture within the privatised site of Newcastle Harbour. The use of timber as a material further enhances the industrial area by increasing the sense of natures’ versatility and hence a relationship to the harbour’s edge.
