Pestsäule

Description

Gothic plague column around 1450 to 1500 in Palterndorf. The strong pillar carries a tabernacle on small console heads. The left relief shows Saint Lawrence (plague saint). On the right side there is a man and a woman in distinguished costumes, probably the donors. The inscription in the south "and his housewife" indicates this.
