Diorite hand specimen

Description

A piece of diorite found in the Taieri River, New Zealand. It is a plutonic rock that solidified from magma deep inside the Earth's crust, forming large crystals of feldspar and amphibole. This model was constructed from photographs of a real specimen using Agisoft Metashape.
