Metal Can (Shape from Polarization, SfP)

Description

This 3D point cloud was created from surface normals by using polarization data from a Polarization Camera (Triton or Phoenix polarization camera). Using polarization data (AoLP, DoLP, and Intensity) from light reflected from an object, one can estimate surface normals and reconstruct depth. This process is known as Shape from Polarization (SfP).
