**Feature 89, excavated** Location: Wall site (31Or11), Orange County, North Carolina. Period: Late Woodland (AD 1500-1600). Dimensions: length, 7.02 ft (2.14 m); width, 4.57 ft (1.39 m); depth, 0.45 ft (0.14 m). Notes: Feature 89, a large, shallow, refuse-filled pit in the 380-400R640-650 block. This archaeological feature was excavated by the Research Laboratories of Archaeology, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, in 2015. Model by Steve Davis.
